SATURDAY APRIL 18 PRACTICE CANCELLED Practice for Saturday, April 18 is cancelled due to a special event at the MRC. Normal practice schedule resumes Tuesday, April 21.

SPRING PRACTICE SCHEDULE Practices for the remainder of the season will be on TUESDAYS, 5:30-7:00 pm (NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME), and SATURDAYS, 8:30-10:30 am.

Post-Season Tournament We're taking a poll to see who would be interested in attending a post-season tournament like the AAU Nationals in Disney or the JVDA Championships in Louisville. Both tournaments are in June. Participation in these tournaments would require an additional cost per player, not to mention travel and lodging. We can take 2 teams or a combination team, depending on interest. There are links on our VOLLEYBALL LINKS page for both of these tournaments. Check them out for more detailed information. Why are we talking about the post-season already? Fundraising! The sooner we make a decision, the sooner we can begin to fundraise to reduce costs. Contact Carole if you have specific questions. We sent home a flyer with more detailed information and approximate costs last Sunday. Contact Carole if it did not make it home, and we'll send you a copy.

More "VB homework!" Remember those great new Up-and-Down planks Coach Seta taught you at practice? Try adding 30 seconds of these planks to your daily exercise routine. Then, for kicks, throw in 30 seconds of Burpies (squat, plank, push-up, squat, jump, land, repeat). Want to get totally buff in record time? Do more sets! Rest for 1 minute between sets. Feel the burn!

Don't forget to do your "VB homework!" Go to the TRAINING TIPS page and do the shoulder routine shown there. You can use 1 lb weights, if you have them, or simply use two bottles of water or two cans of soup. Remember to do these exercises daily, and you'll be seeing improvement in your game in no time!
