Then look no further! The Cincy Peppers Volleyball Club will be conducting a SUMMER TRAINING program this summer that is designed to keep you on top of your game!

What's unique about the Cincy Peppers Summer Training Program?
The typical summer league offers competition but doesn't offer the teaching and learning opportunities of a summer camp. The typical summer camp offers 3-4 days of skills instruction but doesn't provide the opportunity to keep your skills sharp throughout the summer. What we offer with our Summer Training program is the best of both worlds: Quality instruction for an extended period of time.
Participants will meet for 2 hours of training every Saturday for 8 weeks (7 sessions) beginning June 6. The sessions are divided by age group to allow for an appropriate level of competition and instruction. Each day of training will include a variety of activities including warmups, movement training, development of fundamentals, conditioning, contests and games. And every athlete will receive a very cool Cincy Peppers t-shirt!

Session A is for girls entering grades 9-12. Players will train from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Session B is for girls entering grades 6-8. Players will train from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Both sessions will meet every Saturday from June 6 through July 25 (except July 4).

The Cincy Peppers Summer Training program is for those players who want extended training throughout the summer at a reasonable price, only $125 for 14 hours of training. Compare the cost of this program to the cost of private lessons for the same period of time. The savings are significant! Our extended training format is ideal for players who may become unavailable due to vacations or other scheduling conflicts. With 7 dates of training, even if you miss a day here or there you'll still have the opportunity for many hours of quality instruction throughout the summer.

The Cincy Peppers Summer Training program isn't your typical summer camp that only lasts 3 or 4 days. It isn't just a league without instruction or conditioning. And it certainly isn't merely open gym! Our approach for the Summer Training program allows players to develop skills and to condition over a two-month period. We feel this extended contact with the athletes will result in better skill development and retention. And the days off between sessions will allow us to train harder, resulting in increased physical conditioning. We believe we are offering a very effective way to help players keep their skills sharp and to prepare players for their upcoming high school, jr. high or CYO season.

Training sessions are open to all girls grades 6-12, and comply with OHSAA guidelines for out of season instruction. Registration is limited, so don't delay. Registration will close June 6, 2009 or when sessions are full.

We are starting a new program in our club this year called Peppers N Training. PNT is designed to provide girls with the opportunities that only Jr. Olympics can offer - but at a lower level of commitment in terms of time and cost.

Perhaps you are involved in a winter or spring sport and can't meet the time commitment of a full JO season. Or perhaps you are just looking for a more affordable option. PNT operates on a shorter season which reduces the cost to the player. The time commitment is less, the monetary commitment is less, but the experience is still Jr. Olympics.

Players will receive quality instruction two times per week, beginning in late February/early March and ending in May. Teams will participate in 4 - 5 USAV tournaments throughout the season. We are looking to fill one team at each of the 13s, 14s and 15s levels.

All girls in Ohio and Kentucky are eligible to tryout for our club. We are registered in the Pioneer Region of USAVolleyball and comply with all OHSAA and KHSAA regulations.
