  MINI TRAINING SESSIONS
   SESSIONS 3 & 4    NEW! JUST POSTED!

Session 3 is for Setters and Liberos/Defensive Specialists. The emphasis will be on repetitive touches. Players will go through shoulder exercises, passing and setting drills.
Session 3 runs on two consecutive Saturday afternoons, March 17 and March 24, from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.

Session 4 is for Experienced Players who are looking for a quick, intense workout in a short amount of time. This session is a series of competitive play through "wash drills." Players will be placed on a specific team for both dates. There will be four teams (7 players per team). Teams will be filled first-come-first-served by position. All players must be recommended by their club coach or approved by the Cincy Peppers Club Director. This session is for the experienced player.
The position needs for each team are as follows:

  • Two Outside Hitters
  • Two Middle Hitters
  • Two Setters (or One Setter and One Right Side player)
  • One Defensive Specialist or Libero

Session 4 runs on two consecutive Wednesday nights, March 21 and March 28, from 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm.

   SESSIONS 1 & 2

The Cincy Peppers Mini Training Sessions are a great way to get specialized training in your position at an affordable cost. Each session is designed to address the specific skills needed for either Setters and Liberos/Defensive Specialists or Outside and Middle Hitters.

Session 1 is for Setters and Liberos/Defensive Specialists. The emphasis will be on footwork, setting tempo and backcourt defense.
Session 1 runs on two consecutive Saturday afternoons, February 25 and March 3, from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.

Session 2 is for Outside (Left Front and Right Front) and Middle Hitters. The emphasis will be on blocking and running quick attacks.
Session 2 runs on two consecutive Wednesday nights, February 29 and March 7, from 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm.

All Mini Training Sessions are open to Cincy Peppers club members as well as non-members. Players who are in the 14s through 18s age divisions are eligible to participate. Enrollment is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. Instruction will be led by Club Director Chet Cox with assistance from experienced coaches.

The Cincy Peppers Mini Training Sessions are ideal for those players who want additional position-specific training at a cost that is much more reasonable than individual lessons. We believe we are offering a very cost- and time-effective way for players to sharpen their skills in preparation for their next tournament.
